These sessions will continue to develop leadership alongside the opportunity to work together as a community to enhance the provision of science teaching. Building upon the development of our Trust Primary Curriculum Specialists, this PLC brings our Curriculum Leaders back together to share best practice, research, national updates and consider next steps for both their own school and Transform. This year there will be a focus on ‘Impact;’ considering how we can work collaboratively to create a robust approach to assessment and evaluation in the Foundation Subjects.

The Business PLC is aimed at School Business Managers / Office Managers / School Administrators. Following your feedback last year will are moving to shorter sessions with a specific focus. There will be three sessions throughout the year and each session will focus in on one key topic with Executive and Operational input from Trust Centre. Each session will allow for any questions you might like to raise.

With the reforms to the Early Years Statutory Framework, the revised Development Matters and greater focus on practitioner knowledge and expertise, this PLC will enable Early Years Leads and teams to work through the changes together. With a greater emphasis on the right curriculum and highly skilled staff, who understand child development and early years pedagogy, we shall focus on the fundamentals of effective Early Years practice, including quality interactions. The PLC will also work together to moderate our judgments around typicality and support practitioners to deepen their knowledge of this in the new framework.

Following on from the success of last year’s Writing PLC, we are pleased to offer a Trust English PLC for 2021-22. These sessions will focus on embedding best practice across school through the sharing of key research & ideas and collaborating as a group of English Leads. Content will also include key national & Trust updates. The development of writing will remain a key focus for this PLC and we look forward to creating an opportunity for schools to take part in a Trust-wide moderation in spring. Further details to follow. This PLC is aimed at English Leads but we also encourage Leads to bring any other members of the English team to grow expertise and capacity.
