Rebecca Williamson

“I feel passionately about ensuring that Teachers are resourced both intellectually and emotionally to be at their best every day. My background in Natural Sciences (Psychology and Philosophy) has driven my work on teacher workload and wellbeing, creating models of best practice in collaborative planning and wellbeing at a national level.”

Rebecca is a Lead Associate Headteacher and has been with Transform since 2015, she is a highly skilled and experienced teacher with 12 years teaching experience across the full primary range, Deputy Head Teacher and EYFS Lead. She is an SLE for Early Years, Phonics, Leadership and Early Careers Teachers, a facilitator on NPQ programmes, Challenge Partners Reviewer, Governor, IEB member, and a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teachers.

She was instrumental in establishing the NQT and NQT+ programmes for Transform as well as leading a number of our Year Group, Subject Specialist networks and

Transform Partnership Hubs. As part of the School Improvement Team, Rebecca advises schools on all aspects of T&L, Leadership and Teacher workload and wellbeing.

Rebecca has worked extensively on workload and wellbeing for teachers for Transform as well as at a national level, speaking at Westminster Briefing and workshops at DfE road show events at the EMH annual education conference. Her report: “Reducing Teachers’ unnecessary workload: The Promise of Collaborative Planning,” was published as part of the DfE Workload Challenge Report 2018.
