Trish Wilson

“I firmly believe in the vital role of support staff in improving outcomes for children in schools. My key focus is enabling support staff to develop secure subject knowledge and confidence in order to deliver best practice and excellence across schools.”

Trish has been the Transform Trust Lead Associate for Support Staff Development since 2017. She has over 15 years experience of working in schools including six years as a lead TA. She is an experienced School Governor as well as a Professional Affiliate of the Chartered College of Teaching, she holds HLTA status as well as the NPQSL qualification.

She has written and delivered programmes for TAs in Maths, Reading and Writing and Oracy on a range of regional programmes including: Maths SSIF in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, Derby PSG Reading and Writing Programme. She is the lead facilitator for the Transform Trust HLTA Network and the Transform Trust Oracy Project Lead.
